Welcome to the SPIE Student Chapter at Acharya Narendra Dev College, University of Delhi. We are a community of students passionate about optics and photonics, working together to develop our skills, collaborate with colleagues, and make a positive impact in our community.

As a chapter of SPIE, the International Society for Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers, we are committed to promoting the science and application of light. Our chapter was established in August 2010 and is open to students from both Acharya Narendra Dev College and the University of Delhi. We are proud to be part of a global network of over 150 SPIE student chapters, including those at IITs, IISc, NIITs, and DTU in India.

Our chapter offers valuable academic and career development opportunities through a variety of events, workshops, competitions, and activities. We are dedicated to promoting optics and photonics among undergraduate students and providing them with hands-on experience beyond the classroom. Our members have the opportunity to attend conferences, present research papers, and receive industry-based experience and grants.

We are also committed to giving back to our community through outreach programs and collaborations with schools and organizations. Our members have worked on various projects and have conducted outreach programs in several schools to promote optics and photonics.
